All hospitals have put a restriction on elective cases to Cat A only (see below table)

We are delaying all non-urgent procedures for 6 months

We understand this will cause inconvenience but this will not affect medical care

When this restriction is lifted and our lists become available again, we will be in contact

 

Cat Definition
A Admission within 30 days desirable for a condition that has the potential to deteriorate quickly to the point that it may become an emergency
B Admission within 90 days desirable for a condition which is not likely to deteriorate quickly or become an emergency.
C Admission within 365 days acceptable for a condition which is unlikely to deteriorate quickly and which has little potential to become an emergency
D Patients who are either clinically not yet ready for admission (staged) and those who have deferred admission for personal reasons (deferred).
